Basford United Community let a half time lead slip to lose 2-1 at Bingham Town.
Basford took the lead through Ezra Kitungho on the 20th minute mark, through a well worked set piece. Bingham came back into the game just after half time and pounced on a mistake from the Basford defence and drew the game level. Bingham found themselves ahead on the 72nd minute, with a long distance shot finding the bottom corner of the net.
Basford threw everything at the game in the closing minutes, forcing saves from the Bingham goalkeeper and hitting the crossbar in the final minute but couldn't force the ball over the line.

Under 12 Trees
turned in a fine all round performance to beat Clipstone Barca 2-0 and book their place in the cup semi-final.
The Trees came into the cup quarter final not playing for 4 weeks, but started well with some great passing from Michael, Kesharn and Ishy from the back. Keeping the ball well and defending well. Midfield players did well throughout too with Kacper, Nyle, Tyrelle, & Wiktor all doing their bit in defence and going forward. A few changes throughout the game, Tom coming on at the back doing his bit. Lovette coming on up top and making some good runs. Tawana did his hit holding the ball up too and letting others play off him. Faris came on and influenced the game on several occasions and Salam used his strength in the middle of the park.
Another new player Jayden-Samuel started the scoring though when Kacper did well on the left, cut it back to Jayden-Samuel who turned his man well and put it in hard and low for a cool finish. 1-0. The trees were playing some great football and had several chances. Barca defended well though and kept themselves in the game.
Second half began and changes followed to bring fresh legs on. Woody was bought into action several occasions and swept up well and also made a great save one on one with their striker. Not long after the boys secured the points with good link up play down the left when Faris crossed and Kacper flicked the ball in well to make it 2-0. Credit to Barca they never gave up.
Man of the match had to be Tyrelle for his constant work rate throughout, always keeping the pressure on and setting the standard.

Under 11s Tigers
were top scorers this weekend, winning 10-5 against Southwell City Sundays. Goals from Mitchell Spooner 4, Brian Deptula 3, Samuel Roberts, Ryan Keywood and Cameron Sims 1 each.
A great team performance from the boys, who stepped it up another level in the second half after a lacklustre first half. 3 out of 3 wins in the league and the side could be sitting top by the end of the day in Sunday Under 11s Division 4.
Well done boys big game next week in the cup let's carry on the good form!
