We welcome Liam Hearn (shown on right, in photo above with Mark Clifford), from Alfreton Town, Laurie Wilson from Stamford and Dom Roma from Scarborough Athletic.
Hearn, 31, is a striker who has also played for Mansfield Town, Lincoln City and Grimsby Town and is an England C international.
Defender Roma, also 31, started his career with Sheffield United, played over 200 games for Gainsborough Trinity and last season made a great contribution to Scarborough’s play-off push.
Wilson, 32, is an experienced central midfielder who won the National League North in 2011 with Alfreton and has also played for Gainsborough, having started his career at Sheffield Wednesday.
The club have also held off competition from others for skipper Lewis Carr, Matt Thornhill, and James Reid who have all committed to Basford by signing new contracts.
Kieran Wells is already under contract, and Rob Duffy is continuing his recovery with a view to resuming a playing role next season in addition to coaching.
Martin Carruthers said:
“I am absolutely delighted with the new signings which signals our intent for the coming season. It is testament to the chairman that we can now attract players of this calibre to the football club. The success over the last few years has put the club on the map and my phone has not stopped ringing with quality players desperate to join us.
“The management team understand the importance of continuity and we identified the players to add to the quality we already possess from last season.
“We now feel we have the right balance of both experience and youth to mount a serious challenge next season. We are looking forward to getting to work and laying the foundations for further success.”
Chris Munroe commented:
“I had no hesitation signing off these deals and am so pleased with the team management for securing them, it’s great work done early and we cannot wait to get all these and our existing talent back in for pre-season.”
