Monday night football v Gresley

3 months ago By Neil McGowan

The First Team entertain Gresley at Greenwich Avenue on Monday night (7.45) knowing a win will put them top of Evo Stik NPL Division One South.

Gresley have the incentive of knowing that a win will lift them off the bottom of the league.

Mark Clifford is wary of the threat posed by the Derbyshire side:
“It’s good to be back playing league games and we will be looking to use this, our game in hand, to go to the top.

“However Gresley will have their own ideas about that and when you look at the quality of the players they have it is obvious they are in a false position in the league and results will surely start to go their way soon.

"Monday's game is a bit of a local derby, a lot of the players know each other and each other’s games and we will need to be concentrated and on our game if we are to win."

Squad: Deeney, Bartle, Grayson, Carr, Wilson, Roma, Reid, Meikle, Fenton, Wells, Hearn, Grantham, Thornhill, Wakefield, Tabreham, Brown, Harrison, Cameron.
