Happy New Year - see you at Grantham

By Neil McGowan

Basford United would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and remind you of our game at Grantham Town on New Year’s Day (3pm).

After the disappointment of losing on Saturday the team will be keen to start the New Year with a win.

Martin Carruthers said:
“We feel we didn’t really do ourselves justice on Saturday and are pleased to have another game so soon where we can show what we are really capable of.

“We hope to see many of our supporters there and can assure them we will be going all out to start 2019 with a win.”

Ground address: South Kesteven Sports Stadium, Trent Road, Grantham, Lincolnshire NG31 7XQ

Admission: Adults £10, Concessions £6, Under 18 £3, under 15 free.

The last time the sides met was at Greenwich Avenue on August Bank Holiday Monday, goals from Jack Thomas, James Reid and Matt Thornhill giving us a 3-1 win, Ryan Oliver replying for Grantham.
