Carruthers (pictured) said:
"We are all really looking forward to the game and it's a great opportunity to pit our wits against a top Football League side.
"A big thanks to Kevin Nolan for playing the game and hopefully it will be a bumper crowd.
"We know Notts have quality all over the pitch and I'll be looking for us to give a good account of ourselves. We don't expect to win the game but giving them a good game and hopefully getting on the score sheet would be fantastic.
"It's a great opportunity for some of our younger players to show what they can do against top players. Notts scoring 17 at the weekend highlights the goal threat they possess so we know we are going have to work extremely hard out of possession to keep them at bay.
"It would be great if we put on a very good performance and hopefully a few Notts fans will enjoy what they see and we become their second club."
