Castle Rock are the largest independent Brewery in the region and after positive discussions over the last few weeks, the club can now announce that a deal has been agreed for the supply of Real Ale.
Basford United Commercial Manager, Ryan Doherty said; 'We are delighted with the deal and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Castle Rock. Real Ale is one of the fastest growing commodities in the country and we are pleased that we can now offer this to our fans. A Nottingham club partnered with a Nottingham Brewery was a big plus for us and this is how we hope to move forward with other sponsors in the future'.
Castle Rock themselves were happy to come on board after seeing huge potential in the club. Company chairman, Geoff Newton said; 'The reason why we got on board is because it's exciting times for them (Basford United). They have big ambitions and we are thrilled to bits to be supporting them as much as we can'.
The club expect this to be up and running ready for the first pre-season game against Boston Utd on 5th July. Plans are also in place for a Castle Rock Festival at our home game with Kings Lynn on Saturday 28th July. Further details will be released at a later date.
In addition the Castle Rock agreement, the club have also agreed a deal with a major brewery for their mainstream supply. A further announcement will follow in due course.
