After last weeks’ FA Trophy loss the First Team return to league action aiming to maintain their unbeaten record which now stands at thirteen Evo Stik League games.
Martin Carruthers said:
“We are looking at a reaction from the lads after the loss at Stourbridge and want to start this month with a positive result.
“We are carrying a few knocks and have doubts over Dom Roma, Deon Meikle, Matt Thornhill, Rob Duffy and Courey Grantham has his hernia operation this weekend.
“There are no easy games in this league and we had to work very hard to break Peterborough down in the trophy game a few weeks ago and if we are not at 100% all over the pitch then we could lose our league unbeaten record.
"We are now the team to beat in this league and I am expecting a very tough game on Saturday.”

Community are at home to Ruddington Village in the Notts Senior League Premier Division and will be looking to build on last week’s win over Attenborough.
Michael Leslie commented:
“Ruddington will be coming to Greenwich Avenue full of confidence following their excellent recent results.
“Last week we scored in the 90th and 94th minutes to beat Attenborough. Although we left it late, I still think we did enough to throughout the match to deserve all three points with Danny Brown in goal hardly being called upon all throughout the game.
“The players showed great character and resilience to get back into the game so late on. It was also fantastic to see defender, Kelvin Uhunmwangho back in the starting line up for the first time this season following a lengthy absence through illness and he marked his return with a solid performance.”
