Awareness For Autism Charity game Saturday

Greenwich Avenue stages this year’s Awareness For Autism Charity Football match, which takes place on Saturday 13 May, kick off 1pm.

The match is between teams under the direction of James Hooton, who plays Sam Dingle in Emmerdale, and Tristan Gemmill, who plays Robert Preston in Coronation Street.

Team Hooton will be managed by Gemma Atkinson, who is known for her roles in Hollyoaks and Emmerdale, whilst former Apprentice and Celebrity Big Brother contestant Jessica Cunningham will manage the opposition.

The teams feature a host of stars from football and TV, including Notts County’s Kevin Nolan, Richard Thomas, Alan Smith and Mike Edwards; Craig Armstrong, Lawrie Dudfield, Kevin Pilkington; Liam Bairstow (Coronation Street); Joe-Warren Plant, Tom Atkinson and Jamie Shelton (Emmerdale); Ciaran Griffiths (Shameless); Sofiane Khelfa (The Apprentice); Dino (Capital FM); and social media star Tiny Tim Bradbury.
